with my friend Lisa at
sunset in the courtyard of her lovely Phoenix home, the sun began to set,
illuminating this beautiful Calla Lily with a special glow. The vision was so
breathtaking and inspiring, I made several shots, varying exposure and
composition. I couldn't wait to get home to Sedona, get my film processed, and
paint it! What had appeared to be a pure white flower revealed many soft shades
